Back around 2001 through 2003, I played Fender Rhodes Piano with a local favorite San Diego Band out of Pacific Beach , CA, where we had a recording studio and practice space at David Eilert's EME office in downtown Sandy Eggroll. We played all over the place, from The Spreckles Theatre, to The Sunshine Company and Winston's in OB, to Big Bertha's Saloon, to Longboard Grill to the Tiki Lounge, to Blind Melons, to the Hotel in Mission Beach, to beach Parties, to Surfrider Foundation Art Gallas, to Parties at Marco's house, to Brick by Brick, to Del Mar, to La Jolla, and all over San Diego County.The Band consisted of David Eilert on Vocals, Erik Fritzvold on Bass, John Risser on Guitar and vocals, Chad Brienza on Drums, and me on rhodes piano and vocals. Later, we lost Chad Birenza and picked up Wes Billman. The band kinda drifted into new realms and we eventually went our separate ways.
